Panda Party Decorations and Ideas

A panda party is one of the most popular themes used all around the world for kids birthday parties. It’s been a well loved theme from our collection of birthday party printables and I wanted to show you how versatile and fun this theme can be! Keep reading for some fun panda party decorations and ideas for a “Party like a Panda” or “Panda-monium” party.

Panda Birthday Party Setup

To style this simple panda party table, I started by choosing and printing some of our panda party printables. Hanging a banner on the wall behind the party table is a great way to set the scene and make an impact without the need for a big backdrop.

I then decided what was going on the table and where to place each item. To add height to the cake, I used a cake stand that I placed over a wire fruit bowl that I turned upside down. The black colour fit the theme and it was an easy way to add height to the table. I use this trick all the time!

I then added a smaller cake stand with cupcakes, adding height with panda cake toppers, then the bottle labels and lastly the party bags and wrapped chocolates.

Adding colour to a black and white theme

One of the things I love the most about this theme is that by being monochromatic it can be used in black and white for a clean modern look, or you can transform it by adding different accent colours to the decor. I love how versatile it is!

I styled this table with subtle hints of pink and purple, but the theme works well with any other colour you add to it. I originally wanted pink paper bags but I couldn’t find the right shade at the shops so I improvised with what I had at home – a piece of a paper streamer behind the white tag helped it stand out and added the pop of colour I was after. Simple, cute and super cheap!

These panda party decorations make a cute cute gender neutral theme that would suit a birthday party, baby shower or themed celebration. By adding a pop of colour you can really customise it and make it your own.
